It been almost 3 tough weeks for the betting giant sportpesa since their paybill was shut down by the government.
On Monday, the Kenya Revenue Authority cleared 10 companies to renew their licenses, leaving another 17 struggling to keep their heads above water.
Today,we contacted the firm, inquiring on the progress of negotiations and the possibility of them returning to full operations.
Trying to contact them they responded like this “Hello , we trust you are enjoying your evening. Thank you so much for your support, we truly appreciate continued loyalty. Apologies for the inconveniences you have been experiencing and rest assured we are following up on this and we shall notify you as soon as the paybill numbers are restored.”
