This is what will happen to Ivy wangechi Killer after being Discharged Fro m Hospital

Naftali Njahi Kinuthia, the man who murdered Moi University sixth-year medical student Ivy Wangechi has been released from hospital.

Kinuthia is expected to appear in court to answer to murder charges.

Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Chief Executive Officer Wilson Aruasa has confirmed the release.

On his part, Eldoret East DCI chief Ali Kingi said that they are yet to agree on where Kinuthia will be detained.

Kinuthia, who works as a systems administrator at a city betting firm, is reported to have never shown any signs of being stressed before he committed the crime. Neighbours at his home in Chomo, Gatanga Constituency said they were shocked upon receiving the news.

They claimed that the suspect is likely to have been bewitched before he murdered the student, who scored straight A’s in her KCSE.

“We first thought that maybe he had been bewitched because whatever happened wasn’t normal,” said Moses Ndung’u, a resident of Chomo village, as quoted by the Nation.

It has now emerged that the two were classmates in primary school.

In his testimony, Kinuthia claims that he had sent the late Wangechi money for her birthday party.

The body of the deceased was transferred from Eldoret to Kenyatta University Mortuary on Thursday as investigations into the brutal murder continue.
